Progress continues in OKC innovation district

Progress continues on Oklahoma City’s innovation district study, with approximately six months left on the original 18 month study being conducted by Brookings and Projects for Public Spaces (PPS).

In September, Scott Andes from Brookings took part in an innovation task force meeting in Oklahoma City where representatives from OMRF, GE, the University of Oklahoma, i2E, Center for Economic Development Law and Midtown Renaissance were considering ways to promote collaboration in innovation.

This task force is one of four comprised of local stakeholders to discuss various aspects of the innovation district concept including placemaking, innovation, governance and developing a mission statement for the district. Brookings and Project for Public Spaces are providing support by identifying best practices of other innovation districts.

During his visit, Andes also met with a larger coalition group who identified goals for future work, including ways to connect employees, students, patients, clients and residents, as well as draw in those outside the area.

obviously like your web-site but you need to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts.
A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very troublesome to inform
the reality then again I will definitely come again again.
