Prairie Artisan Ales plots downtown Oklahoma City brewery

Tulsa-based Prairie Artisan Ales will start brewing beer in Oklahoma City as part of a mixed-use redevelopment of an old warehouse near Automobile Alley.

Developers Brandon Lodge, Cale Coulter and Patrick Murnan purchased the old warehouse at 3 NE 8 earlier this year for $1.2 million. The building has been used as storage space for years.

Prairie Artisan Ales will be an anchor tenant in the building, inhabiting 4,000 square-feet that will include a brewery, tap room and creative art space.

Lodge envisions the renovated warehouse space with an urban feel with a restaurant and other attractions.
